> LEE McCORMACK Born 1945 in Seymour, Indiana, McCormack is has been residing on Martha’s Vineyard since 1972.
A founder of The Savage Poets of Martha’s Vineyard, he was elected Martha’s Vineyard First Poet Laureate (2012-2014) by the Martha’s Vineyard Poetry Society, and was a finalist in the Montreal International Poetry Prize in 2013-2014. Lee studied intensively with Galway Kinnell, Sharon Olds, Charles Simic, Robert Pinsky, Thomas Lux, and Peter Klappert.

> JILL JUPEN is the founder of the Martha’s Vineyard Poets Collective, a group of 15 poets who meet weekly. She has led the group in writing poetry, critiquing one another’s work, and studying classical and modern poets. She is involved in workshops at M.V.R.H.S. and at Island libraries. She has read her work at numerous venues across the island, including Poetry Café at the M.V. Playhouse, and off-Island for the Massachusetts Poetry Society. Jupen is the current (2019/2020) Martha’s Vineyard Poet Laureate.

> DONALD NITCHIE has led poetry writing workshops on the Vineyard for the past 25 years, and has had his poetry in Salamander, MV Arts and Ideas, Martha’s Vineyard Poets, and other publications. His poetry collection, Driving Lessons, was published by Pudding House in 2008.
