Frank Wilkins is a Boston based jazz pianist/educator, and has performed with jazz luminaries, including Tyron Davis, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Kevin Eubanks and Lavern Baker. He performs regularly in the Boston area with his group, Frank Wilkins and WeJazzUp, which has been on the scene since the 1970s.

Peter Halperin has been writing music and playing the guitar and piano since early childhood. During the 1970’s he performed at folk clubs Gaslight, Bitter End, Folk City, and the Mainpoint in New York City and Philadelphia. He has shared the stage with Randy Newman, Sunny Terry and Brownie McGee, Mississippi Fred McDowal, Happy and Arty Traum, and Bob Dylan. On the Vineyard he has performed with Michael Johnson and the Miracle Cure and the Eclectrics. His song, “Magic in the Ocean” was included on the Vineyard Sound 2 compilation, produced by Peter Simon. With the recent arrival of a Steinway B grand piano in his studio, he is now focused on writing music for piano rather than lyrics for songs. He will debut a new composition written especially for this evenings performance, and also perform and sing an older original. Halperin is a full time physician and musician, and lives between North Hampton and Martha’s Vineyard.

Wes Nagy – Keyboards
From playing trumpet in the 113th Army Band to producing music for Prime time Television, Wes has traveled a varied musical path matched by few. From Berklee College in Boston, to classes at Julliard in NYC, and the Masters Program in Film Scoring at USC, Wes has a background that spans many genres.
Years of playing bars, then international tours with artists like Bo Didley, Mick Taylor from the Rolling stones, Gary U.S. Bonds, Del Shannon, Dale Bozzio, Trini Lopez, Lou Rawls, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, Alex Taylor, etc and the list goes; have honed Wes’ chameleon-like music prowess to a fine degree. After 13 years of being based in NYC, Wes changed direction, moved to LA and was able to move up the ranks to produce music
for shows like Drew Carey, Felicity, West Wing, Providence, American Dreams, Early Edition, Cupid, Sports Night, etc.
Wes has now retired to a quieter life style on Martha’s Vineyard and continues today with many musical projects that keep him busy writing music for independent films and projects, as well as performing live with the legendary “Grateful Dread”.
