An indigo blue dye vat made by Rebecca Gilbert will be available for dipping your garment or other item, producing gorgeous blue color with surprising effects. You will be able to learn from Rebecca how this vat was made, find out about dyeing techniques, and get info about upcoming workshops this summer at her Teaching Farm on North Road.

Nygel Jones – As an artist, the inspiration for creating my fictional geography is right in front of me wherever I go throughout the City’s complex and diverse infrastructure.
‘Mama Rose’ Harry Seymour 16 x 20 Pastel “Mama Rose,” was painted to promote the Precious Project-www.preciousproject.org., whose mission is to care for and educate orphaned and abandoned children in Nshupu, Tanzania. All proceeds from the sale of 16 x20 framed canvas prints will be donated to the project. Mama Rose, is the Precious Project’s cook. Prints are $625.

ANSWER: Currently, American Rivers is aware of almost 1,150 dams that have been removed over the past 100 years in this country.
QUESTION:“Which is the largest dam removed in U.S. history?”
ANSWER: That would be Glines Canyon Dam of the Elwha on which this film is partly based.
